Museum
Welcome to the Website of our Nativity Scene Museum
In its historical and listed former parish barn from 1612 the Nativity Scene Museum of Oberstadion presents an important nativity scene exhibition with works by famous contemporary artists from Germany, Austria and Italy as well as historic nativity scenes.
The figures presented in the Nativity Scene Museum in Oberstadion captivate the visitor. Not only those of Angela Tripi from Sicily, one of the most renowned ceramics artists in the world, can be seen. Also those of the brothers Tobias and Herbert Haseidl from Oberammergau who have been awarded numerous prizes for their woodcarvings.
The Vatican owns a 3m carved statue of the Madonna.
The nativity scene that Tobias and Herbert Haseidl created especially for the nativity Scene Museum Oberstadion can truly be called unique in the world.
The Nativity Scene Museum is barrier-free enabling wheelchair users and rolling walkers users a problem-free visit.
